How LipoSan Ultra® Works

How chitosan works

Like other viscous fibers, chitosan is known to interfere with dietary fat metabolism. It does this by reducing the absorption of dietary cholesterol and complexing with bile acids, helping lower serum cholesterol. 

Unlike other viscous fibers, however, chitosan becomes positively charged in stomach acid, making it an excellent agent for increased fat absorption. This positive charge is a key element for the more advanced fat-binding capacity of chitosan compared to other fibers.

Why LipoSan Ultra® is more effective

A key fact is that chitosan must be completely dissolved in stomach acid in order to efficiently bind and block fat. Most chitosan products require up to one hour or more to complete this function. In vitro tests demonstrate that LipoSan Ultra® is demonstrably more efficient in binding triglycerides than other chitosan products, especially after a short solubilization time.

The resulting enhanced performance of LipoSan Ultra® is characterized by rapid solubility in stomach acid, high density and molecular weight. LipoSan Ultra® contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels*. These factors all contribute to LipoSan Ultra®'s greater fat-binding capacity.  

In addition, unlike other chitosan products that must be ingested at least 30-60 minutes before mealtime, LipoSan Ultra® can simply be taken with any meal, making it a more effective and user-friendly weight management supplement choice for those who wish to see results fast.
